I decided to go and grid Fan’s Roman Site with my new detecting partner. It was a long walk from the car & to get to the Site you pretty much miss all of the Metal Working Site but this no-mans land does produce the odd Celtic find & that’s what it did today as I detected my way to the starting point. Got it 20 mins into the 2.5 hour rainy session.
