DIY towfish build

I recently built a towfish to search for civil war wrecks on the Potomac River. Built with steel tube and PVC. See attached photos. It’s got a ball hitch on the nose. Front half is steel tube. Back half is PVC. Four pounds of weight above the transducer. I’ve only got about fifteen feet of cable currently but it works pretty well. Haven’t tested in choppy seas yet but will probably need more cable to reduce motion.
