1787 Connecticut Copper Good Condition

Within 15 minutes after turning on my Manticore in the field this morning I got a nice solid hit. Running at 28 sens in General Mode with factory settings, the number was big and stable, tone was high, and the graph a nice black circle to the right. I knew I had a large cent or halfpence. It was 5-6 ” deep in the forest floor. I only gave it a light wash with water. Love that slick green patina. This is my second one of these coins. I found a rough one last year.
